Edward, Have you tried the glass mugs (harder to find in ceramic) with a plastic vaned insert that damps the movement of fluid. They work well but only hold 125ml.
If, like me, anyone is finding it increasingly difficult to use a keyboard, speech recognition software could be the answer. I discovered Dragon Dictate about a year ago and can honestly say I now wouldn't be able to write more than a paragraph without it. It's made by a company called Nuance (UK site nuance.co.uk) and the PC versions are called Dragon NaturallySpeaking, the Mac versions Dragon Dictate. Essentially all you do is load the software, plug in the supplied mike, talk into the mike for up to 20 mins to 'train' the software to recognise your voice, and that's it. Because I can still use a mouse and a keyboard a bit, I tend to use my Dictate only for long pieces of writing, but as my tremor gets worse I know I'll be using it more and more.
It can be bought from all the usual suppliers, Amazon, etc.
Hi, my father in law has a hand tremor. He was diagnosed with Parkinsons 4 years ago. One of the things he has really struggled with is signing his name. We have been in the office products industry for 40 years and have adapted a pen to help in situations where a signature is required. We can produce pens that will stamp a name and address or stamp a signature. If anyone would like to find out more about these pens, please contact me in the first intance at diana@consultivate.co.uk.many thanks.

Hi Helen,
I have trouble holding cups but have found a great one that helps a great deal. I mentioned to my daughter that the best glass for me to drink from is a brandy glass because the rim goes inwards (hard to describe but hopefully you know what I mean). She found a mug shaped to look like a football with the rim again bending in and it is really great. If you don't understand my description let me know and I will get a photo of it.
